Mental Health Awareness Week

The children in 4th, 5th and 6th class have participated in mindfulness activities this week to acknowledge the importance of positive mental health in their daily lives. Mindfulness colouring, yoga & meditation and online guided dance activities (‘brain break’ time) were some of the activities they enjoyed.

On Friday, the whole school went on a mindfulness walk. They took time out of their school day to chat with their friends on their journey and take in all the sights, sounds and smells from the local environment.

The senior classes will continue these activities throughout the school year.
